Estava pensando na Maria de Lourdes Pelaes, que era bem clara de olhos azuis-verdes. O sobrenome Pelaes não é italiano, mas espanhol. Eu conversei tanto com Malú, mas nunca perguntei detalhes sobre sua família. Por Google soube que Pelaes é encontrado na região de León, norte da Espanha. 

Tinha me esquecido que a garota não identificada na foto tirada no Incontro di Fans di Rita Pavone, na Vila Madalena, em 15 October 1967, era uma sobrinha que a acompanhou naquele domingo. Lucinda Rato, que era sua amiga inseparável dela não pode ir por alguma razão, daí ela trouxe a sobrinha, que nunca soube se era filha de irmão ou irmã dela.

Meus passos ainda cruzariam muito os de Malú. Em 1969, quando trabalhei de datilógrafo na seção de publicidade da 'Folha de São Paulo', no 2o. andar, eu tive contato com ela, pois, coincidentemente, Malú trabalhava na seção 'Folha Informação', no 5o. andar do mesmo prédio da Rua Barão de Limeira atendendo telefonemas de assinantes pedindo informações gerais. As vezes, quando eu tinha tempo, subia até a FI e conseguia falar alguns minutos com ela.

Vera Castellani wrote at FB on 17 May 2018: Sim, Malú estava doente há alguns meses, até que foi submetida à uma cirurgia do intestino, mas devido a seu estado bem debilitado, não agüentou. Faleceu no dia 19 Março 2018... muito triste. Muita falta está nos fazendo.

Walter died of complications of Covid-19. He told Wilton Belintani over the phone since the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic he was very careful not to mingle with crowds and avoided to go out of doors needlessly. The only time he went out was once a week on street-market day (feira-livre) next to where he lived but even so he tried to go early when there was not many people milling around. 

We don't know how Walter got infected with the Corona virus. After he was already in hospital, he sent a message to Doris Castro saying he was not really bad. A few days later, Doris got a message from Guilherme, his youngest son telling her Walter was on a ventilator and the doctor said there was nothing else they could do about him. Very sad, indeed.
